The Department of Civil Engineering is started in the year 2015 and is producing quality technical manpower needed by industry, R&D organizations, and academic institutions. The intake capacity of this department is 60. As Civil engineering is one of the oldest engineering disciplines because it deals with constructed environment including planning, designing, and overseeing construction and maintenance of building structures, and facilities, such as roads, railroads, airports, bridges, channels, dams, irrigation projects, pipelines, power plants, and water and sewage systems .

After the completion of 3 years of Diploma in Civil Engineering, a student can directly enter in an Industry of Private/Public sector or he/she can go for higher studies in the field of Civil Engineering or equivalent Engineering Courses. This program can create a Junior Engineer (JE) in Government sector who prepares a report about site conditions and progress and reports their findings to the lead civil engineer.

• M2: M2 : To make the department a hub of knowledge and a centre of excellence by providing a platform to students both in academics and cultural activities.
• M3: M3 : To encourage innovation, research and develop competitiveness among students by engaging them into various live projects.

• PEO1: PEO1 : To impart engineering education to develop professional skills that will prepare the students for relevant branch of engineering in industry.
• PEO2: PEO2 : To develop the awareness among students and the competence to be practical users of modern technologies and the ability to work with others, in professional and social settings.
• PEO3: PEO3 : To develop a global view among students so that they can appreciate diversity in the world and evolve innovative capabilities in creative and integrative activities in their relevant branch.

• PO1: 1. Engineering knowledge: Students can apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve Civil Engineering related problems
• PO2: 2. Problem analysis: Ability to identify, formulate and analyze Civil engineering problems reaching solutions using principles of mathematics and engineering sciences.
• PO3: 3. Design/development of solutions: Ability to plan, analyse, design and implement various civil engineering components
• PO4: 4. Modern tool usage: Ability to apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and software tools including modelling of complex engineering activities.
